The chromos by EF (Ernst Freihoff) are based on chromos images from the beginning of the century to the 1960s.
The production at the time came from different companies, the main one was in Berlin.
These images were used at the time to decorate pastries, make postcards, decorate screens, chairs, boxes. There were many layers of varnish to give the impression of paints by hand. Today these old images are exclusively produced by EF, in the tradition (chromolithography), a large part of the stages of production is still manual
Chromos from EF are available in 3 forms
- brightness - bright colours
- mica - covered in places with small mica grains (cannot be used to decorate pastries)
- in bags - in a slightly thicker paper the images are separated and packaged in bags

Collage on any support (box, album, wall, tile, pot, ...)
For a good hold, the glue to use is a glue adapted to the chosen medium

Varnish-glue can be suitable for many supports, however for bonding in wet, outdoor, ... it is better to choose a suitable glue
