Waterproof, breathable, stretchy fabric (10%), suitable for food contact

Intended for the manufacture of work requiring to be waterproof (pie bag, snack bag, vegetable bag, freezer bag, apron, tablecloth, beach bag, bibs, washable diapers, toilet bag, play mats, mattress protector, shower curtain, sportswear, ...)

Sewing instruction: to avoid sewing setbacks and keep the fabric waterproof on the seams

- for sliding: use a Teflon foot or talc or baking paper

- use polyester yarn (neither rayon nor cotton that diffuses moisture)

- jersey or stretch needles (no pointed needles) as thin as possible depending on the thickness to be sewn

- The longest point possible to minimize the number of holes.

- No pins, no frames, use seamstress pliers

- if you want to make a bias, cut into the frame on either side according to the desired elasticity, do not cut into the bias

Maintenance: no bleach, no chlorine, no bleaching agents (laundry powder), no softener, no soda, no vinegar

The fabric is not stain resistant. Stain resistance requires a chemical treatment that would make it not food safe.

Made in the United States, without harmful chemicals and in respect of the environment, this technical and hypoallergenic textile meets CPSIA standards. Composed of 75% polyester and 25% polyurethane, it is guaranteed to be free from bisphenol A (BPA), perfluoroalkyl (PFAS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA).
The tests prescribed in the USA also guarantee it free from lead, PVC, phthalates or latex, which makes it suitable for food use, certified for repeated storage of all kinds of food and Non-alcoholic beverages (Baked goods, dairy products, fats, oils, dry food, water, food, curries, vegetables, sandwiches, sauces, pasta).
The food can be placed hot or cold, can be used for storing in the refrigerator of freezer.
It should be noted, however, that this PUL food certification does not exist in France and is therefore not recognized.
