Machine Embroidery

You want to start creating your own files for your embroidery machine. I’m sharing my experience that started in June 2024 where I discovered a learning group on facebook and the open source Inkscape’s Ink/Stitch machine embroidery pattern extension.

Inkscape allows patterns to be plotted appropriately for embroidery

Ink/Stitch is an extension of Inkscape that allows you to set up the strokes and shapes created for the embroidery machine and also offers a very varied lettering. It is very complete and evolves regularly.

The learning group offers progress guides, videos and members are helpful and answer your questions as long as you follow the rules of the group to read first.

Everything is so well explained that I quickly felt autonomous while knowing that I still have a lot to learn.
